Almost. Teenage Fanclub also has three great song-writers. I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek, but not very. I'm really not sure which band has a better catalogue. I think Teenage Fanclub is criminally underrated, and one of the greatest banRAB ever with a rather amazing nuraber of excellent songs.

He plays Jason and is not a particulary good actor. Shame as it's a half decent film with a good soundtrack.

There are tons of great banRAB from the 80's, you just have to dig a little. As Janszoon says, there is good in every era.

If you don't think This is Spinal Tap is funny, then you have a horrible sense of humour.
If you don't think the merabers of the "band" are absurdly talented, then you don't know anything about them or possibly music.
If your post is totally serious, then you have no idea how funny it is. It's a Mocumentary dude, they're not a real band, it's an SNL cast meraber, the guy who does 1/2 the Simpson's voices and the guy who writes and direct all of the improv fueled films in the Spinal Tap ilk.
By the way, since we don't know each other, no offense just making a point with hyperbole.

I was surrounded by this throughout most of the 90s (I live in Miami, go figure). Enjoyable then sure, but I can only tolerate a handful of songs today (including Insomnia

"Nude" "Bodysnatchers" and "Weird Fish/Arpeggi" are pretty good, but other than that I didn't think it was too good either
