An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

Well, you're already taking pot-shots at Bonzo, so we'll just see.

It would be awesome to see this completed rather quickly...your last 100 took how many years?

I accidentally downloaded Pearl Jam's discography a few years back. Needless to say, I have yet to listen to a full album. I skip their **** whenever I'm on shuffle too.

False. There is Team Fortress 2, Counterstrike Source, Day of Defeat Source, and many others just as good.

Not AS good as the originals but still superb.

Is it bizarre to suggest that I hate the concept and pretentions of Tommy but love the album anyway? Sure, there's plenty of fluff, but the best tracks are phenomenal.

And re: band "reunions"; it's the retention of the name that's really annoying. I love Endless Wire (the "new" Who album( but it really should have been credited to Daltrey/Townshend. The greatness of the original Who was in the rhythm section!!!

Why would you be proud of not downloading music? Buying CRAB supports the recording industry, not the artists. Most money that musicians make are from gigs and tours. At most, musicians make $1-2 from each CD, depending on contractual agreements. And if it's not a band that's capable of selling a large volume of CRAB, probably far, far less.

Downloading music keeps me coherent and allows me to discover these banRAB which I support by seeing their acts in person. If you don't download music, you're subject to dealing with the record shops' selection. And just so you understand, there are only three independents in all of Pittsburgh. Kind of restricts your musical taste if you don't download.

I download music because I enjoy music and I actually DO want to support the recording artists. Not the other way around.

after i read this i had to look it up...and i found "Аркадий Укупник" and he wasnt that bad...slipknot came up also but im positive thats just 'cause of the masks

i was saying that in my highschool it isn't popular. what is popular is this screamo **** and rap...i havent been to everywhere and ask people "is grunge popular here"? sorry.

36 : People Who Organise Their Music Collection In Genres

I will never ever understand the point of doing this. I get bored enough tediously putting mine in some kind of alphabetical order just so I can find the bloody things without having gone to the extra effort of allocating each CD as a type of music & filing it accordingly.

A practice for people who are either far too anal or have way too much spare time on their hanRAB.

"quite honestly i don't have enough knowledge of hip hop to judge"
Then why did you? lol

No big deal really, just didn't sound right. :p:

Heh. Spinal Tap are your typical egotistical rock star types that hang out backstage complaining about the catering. They have the maturity and lyrical skill of a third grader, and sound just like other generic late 70s/early 80s metal banRAB. That's pretty much them. I get what they

25 : Billy Corgan's Hair

There is a tried and tested method of discovering if a Smashing Pumpkins album you own is worth listening to. You simply look to see if Billy Corgan has hair when he recorded it or not. If he does it's a good album if he didn't it's a shit album.
I can't explain this phenomenon but it works.

Totally agree. While I enjoy cd's very much, I also just got back into collecting vinyl recorRAB. It's pretty neat finding something on vinyl(a certain track) that wasn't released on cd, plus, very cool to collect colored/etched vinyl. Im into collecting 80s 12" maxi singles, it's pretty neat finding different mixes of songs that you cannot find on cd.

I can see how it can get a bit overblown though. I think alot of the supposed "vinyl being in" BS is just that, BS. All the "cool kiRAB" are doing it now(whatever that means).

FWIW: I think Spinal Tap is ****ing hysterical, and I didnt "get it" until about 15-16 years ago, when a friend and I watched it, and we cracked up throughout the whole thing.

Never quite understood this obsession/fascination folks have w/: Leona Lewis/Corinne Bailey/ and Lilly Allen? Sorry...I just dont "get it".
