Amp works,speakers work,Subs Don't!! help!! ?

I have mrp-f550 1000w amp 4 channel..and it is powering 2 JL 6x9 speakers and "supposedly" powering 2 12 inch MTX 4500 Thunder subs..

The two JLs work but neither of the subs work.. I have checked my connections,my gain,bass boost,etc... everything!! but i just do not here anything from my subs! the louder i turn my music up the JL speakers are pounding louder.. but the subs just sit there.. please help! this is all I know about the equipment.. I bought the car with all this in it.

Triple check the wiring. Follow all of it. Check the ground and see if it's contacting a bare metal surface. Check the fuse near the battery on the power wire. Check the stereo and make sure the bass is up and it's on the loud option. Check the fuse on the amp. Check the the wires that are connected to the subs themselves(not the box).
 
1. Could possibly be your stereo you may have the bass turned off
2. break in the wires going to sub possibly?
3. bad ground?
