the jl a6450 is in my truck and receiving power from the battery, but the sub is not getting power. all the wires are hooked up properly. sometimes the sub gets power and works fine then randomly shuts off although the amp is still getting power and running the speakers with no power loss. i dont think it is an overheating problem because the sub sometimes works for only a few seconds after start up then shuts off and the speakers still remain on. i checked both the ground and positive with a test light.
amp has power, but sub does not. car audio.?
