second amp is connected to the first amp but the first amp is cutting on but not the second amp what is wrong i think it might be the ground ...? confused....

do you have a divider? if you just run power to one amp and then run power out of the first into the second amp then you won't get anywhere near the right power. I'm running two amps in my car. i have 4awg wire from the battery to a divider and then 2 separate 8 awg wires out of it, one to each amp, then run 8 awg from each amp to separate grounds. If you do that each amp will get equal power. you might use different awg wire depending on how much power your running. just double the awg of what you would use for just one of your amps and follow my setup. its works fine

running two amps off the same power line? Depends on the wattage of your amps, you could be getting very little power to your amps... you could have too small of a inline power fuse, thus, not allowing enough power to your amps. as far as the gound... are you running the same guage wire for ground as you are the power wire? and you don't want the ground wire any longer than 2 feet really.... and is the ground bolted to a painted surface?
