America's military crown jewel, the F-22A Raptor, will now be given to Israel. *link*

I was just on the flightline and took pics of some of my jets, crusty old F-14s
I'll post pics when I get home
guess I'll go to jail
I wouldn't fuck w/ the F-22's on the flightline tho, not my territory. Maybe I'll ask the AF guys if I can snap pics of the jets they have in the hangar

Q: So what do you mean then when you say no airplane is really safe in the skies?

A: Well, you just simply develop hardware that can focus and destroy the inner ear of pilots using sonic bursts. A much cheaper way of getting air superiority dontcha think?

Your link doesn't say they will be sold to Israel

Last I heard there were too many difficulties in the sale, particularly the fact that Israel insists on upgrading all its puchased planes with its own home-made military hardware.

I thought General Dynamics made the F-16.

-edit- NM, General Dynamics sold that part to Lockheed in 93

I'm not sure, but they probably are. Between their F-16's, F-15s and f-18's they should have their role about covered though

I've heard they have so many different aircraft when one gets damaged and needs heavy repairs they'll just stuff it somewhere and forget about it.
