Broadcast Order: Season 5, Episode 2
Production Order: Season 4, Episode 15

Writer: Jonathan Fener
Director: Rodney Clouden

A new episode airs tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

"I'm okay!!!"

lol I'm enjoying both plots. I think this is pretty interesting. All those people getting killed because of Roger's complaining. o_O

EDIT: The end of Steve and Snot's war. :x

Not as good as last week to me.

The Steve/Snot subplot was... okay. Wasn't my favorite, and could've went farther. (I would like an actual showdown between the two.)

Stan/Roger... Eh. Didn't interest me a lot, but it got better towards the end.

American Dad - "Moon Over Isla Island" - Talkback [10/4]

As I watched ?American Dad?, I was reminded for the second time tonight (first time was during ?Family Guy?), why expletives, especially the ones that get censored by a ?beep?, are unnecessary on programs such as this, but as the show was coming to an end I was truly enjoying what the show was about in spite of the language when all of a sudden my local station interrupted it for a special weather report concerning the right edge of the broadcast area. The station had weather information on the screen during the previous commercial break and disappeared until later in the third segment of ?American Dad?, but the station did the weather report anyway until the commercial break preceding the end credits for ?American Dad?.

The stormy weather at the time did not affect the entire broadcast area, yet the station felt the need to interrupt a new episode of a program after providing on-screen information for viewers in the affected areas. The stations in my area interrupt programming so often it?s no longer a surprise for some, but I was surprised again as it affected a show I continue to follow. I wish I could change the ways of these stations instead of waiting 20 or 30 years for any great differences.

Exceptionally solid episode tonight. Best bits were...

-Where the Dictator was lying dead on the escalator, the people only elicited reactions where they were exactly parallel to his location.
-Roger not knowing any better as his criticisms and desires for bad things to happen to people came to be.
-The inner tube and the long glass of beer.
-Roger eating the corn dog.
-Dancing Man. Who know he would be such an evil man.

Considering that last scene of them, I don't think they could have taken it any farther. I'm surprised no one's elicited a reaction about that scene yet. It took me a few seconds to get it myself. I didn't even realize why Snot was hanging on the back of the door until Steve said 'I can feel your heartbeat' and realized what was happening.

Another solid episode. More consistent than last week's in some ways, since some of the Vietnam re-enactment sequences wore the running joke a little too thin. Steve's "I can feel your heartbeat" line was a great example of how a joke can be dirty and subtle at the same time, and how in fact the subtlety enhances it.

You're telling me. :p I'm just now getting it and I'm trying to keep from bursting out laughing. Now the reason they realized things had gone too far is quite clear. Yikes.
