1) they wouldn't have to worry about 'being caught' if it was legal

2) legalization eliminates dealer risk also

Traffickers would still exist ... I work in a bakery, we traffic product all over North America and to Hawaii ... Crack has to get from the producers to the users somehow

I didn't even read this shit, but if TS thinks America is a state not a country he's fucking retarded

Judges sentencing "criminals" to for-profit jails and getting kickbacks. ITS THE AMERICAN WAY!!!!

no, i mean they'll use it scare people into not voting for legalization of marijuana.

I'm not going to get into the argument of whether it's called legalization or decriminalization.

I'd like to see all drug laws repealed, because the government has no business telling you what you can put into your own body, whether it's a plant or a chemical or a bullet.

Call it what you please.

well i think overall the support would probably be 60-70%, but you're right, it would be a bad political move. politicians have no spine

It's hard to say. I DON'T think we would see a crack epidemic, mainly because amongst those people who are likely to smoke crack, the fact that it's illegal probably isn't much of a deterrent. I have a hard time thinking that anyone new would start using now that they could do it without going to jail.

Where I DO think it would have a big impact is on the distribution networks. Decriminalizing crack would cause a massive drop in the premium charged as a street-price, so there'd be less money to be made by traffickers and a drop in the supply provided (since you need huge payouts to justify the risk of being a crack dealer). Could be by a significant amount, too.
