Am I too big for a Kawasaki Ninja 250?

Well, technically anyone can ride a 250 as long as they can operate the throttle/clutch/brakes/etc. In reality though, a 250 will almost definitely be an uncomfortable ride for you because you'll be hunched over more and your legs will be bent more than if you had a 600 or even a 500 cc bike. I'm 6'2 165 and I own a 2005 Yamaha R6 (600cc). It's a perfect for for me. If you've never ridden a motorcycle before, then i'd definitely recommend taking a motorcycle safety course before you do anything. They won't have anything above a 150 or a 200 to offer you to ride, but you'll still be able to get the basics of riding down and see if it/s for you. Also, if you can manage riding one of those bikes, you can definitely manage riding a 250, but you'll be riding much more once you get the bike than you will in the class, so i'd recommend looking at the Suzuki GS500f. It's 500cc and bigger than the Ninja 250, but is much more forgiving than a 600 and is also much cheaper. Try sitting on different bikes and see what is most comfortable for you. Hope this helps and stay safe.

Yes, the bike will do for you but barely a 500 will be the next size up in a sport bike.

Does ut have to be sport bike? many sport bikes have low bars which put a lot of pressure on you wrists.
before buying take a safe rider course, learn to ride on their bike, yo have to how did you plan to get your bike to class?
Cruisers are easier for beginners, the are more rider and INSURANCE friendly.
