Am I of Danish nobility?

Have you thought of emailing the Danish Royal Palace to ask this question? Or, is this wishful thinking on your behalf ?
 
Coats of arms are not just for nobility in Europe, but you could be. If you are of Danish nobility, I suggest you take up smoking cigarettes. Dronning Margrethe and family are all chain-smokers, I've heard!
 
Nobility is inheriteged trough males, so that would be a no.
But if you could find your grandmothers maiden name, you could have some fun trying to find out more about your Danish heritage.
 
So a couple years ago my father showed me a plate that was made of some heavy gray material that his mother gave to him (his mother was born in denmark) and it had our coat of arms on the bottom of the plate and im just wondering if it means are family were nobles or some sort of members of high ranking society
 
Nobility runs from father to son.

If your mother was from Denmark, and she is from a noble family, YOU aren't nobility.

Someone in your background probably was. Search the name and see what you can find out.
