Alternative to car cigarette lighter for power source?

My car cigarette lighter hasn't been working and I figured that it's not worth getting it fixed after talking to a mechanic due to the age and value of the car. What alternative power source is available if I want to charge my phone, mp3 player, laptop and etc. in the car?
 
Honestly it shouldn't be that hard to repair.

The other option is to buy a new cigarette lighter from the spare parts shop and have a auto lec wire it in.

Dead simple job, and should take no more than a hour, plus less than $20 to buy the plug.

There is no other option, really.
