alpine type r 15's in a car?

i was thinking about getting two 15in alpine type r's. i wanted to know if i could run these off a stock alternator. there 750 watts rms a piece. and what would be a good amp to run these off of for $400 or less without blowing the subwoofers or amp. thanks!
 
Just by some 12" Rockford Fosgate F12's You don't have to have a box for these if you decided that's an options. They're free air meaning they can be mounted on just a piece of plywood that is securely fastened down or in a box like normal. They HIT Hard and a Punch 55 amp would be more than enough to push them. I have a set in my mustang and believe me they hit. I have them mounted on a piece of plywood fastened directly behind the rear seat and the seat moves in and out. When people sit back there they say it gives them a great back massage. OH they're 10 1/2 years old. Yea, they last forever. Don't let anyone tell you Rockford Fosgate is a sorry speaker and if they do they have no idea what the fuck their talking about. I have had every kind of speaker made and other than Kicker Competition's the F12's or the only ones I would ever buy again. The Punch 45, Yea!! and the Punch 55 amp's are powerful. Now Punch makes lots of amps but the 55 is perfect for 12".
