Might I add to what sparky said, it's not good to run different drivers on the same amp...Just want to clarify that, also the battery isn't what powers the system the alternator is... You will only need to upgrade the electrical, if you exceed 1200 watts RMS output from the amp...
 
I am wondering what all do i need for my car audio setup, i have currently have two type R's with the box and an older, smaller amp for the speakers. I also have the head-unit and a V power amp for the subs.I am about to buy an Alpine type X speaker set and i dont want this system to drain my battery. Any suggestions?
 
Might I add to what sparky said, it's not good to run different drivers on the same amp...Just want to clarify that, also the battery isn't what powers the system the alternator is... You will only need to upgrade the electrical, if you exceed 1200 watts RMS output from the amp...
