Alice in Chains...

I Simply can't pick a best album out, the best i can do is throw all the songs in one list and put them under categories for different mooRAB, which is annoying not to a have a favourite song, but still i got a favourite band out of it all.

i always really liked 'the nothing song' from the S/T. it's the one about peanut butter on the brain haha

apparently they were having a hard time in the studio with that track. couldn't get the chorus right, people getting tired and pissed off, etc. apparently after a blowout around 7:30 Staley took a break and everything clicked while he was getting air (and presumably getting some peanut butter on haha)

Sometimes, ya know reunions aren't necessarily a wonderful thing... but maybe, just maybe, the album itself holRAB some more golden moments...

AIC is definetly an influence to most banRAB today. If not they should be. I can't really seem to get into the new AIC without Layne. I like Jerry's "Degredation Trip" album, just wish he wouldn't have released the new album under Alice in Chains.

the chorus could easily apply to Cobain's life which is why i figure the original person posed it as a question.

although according to wikipedia it's about breaking up from a long term relationship.

Intro (Dream Sequence) is funny. At the end someone yells RED RUM and it goes into Hate To Feel, and what is Layn (sp?) talking about in Anger Chair?

My local rock station was talking about one of the new singles the other day. The DJ actually apologized for playing the song, and promised the station would never play it again. I haven't heard it, but needless to say it hasn't gotten alot of positive feedback.

Then again, it isn't Nickleback.

Oh lovely, we're back on topic now.

I'd almost definitely class them in the same sound as Nirvana, but yes, they were more metal. Dirt was their big break through.

I think Alice in Chains is A-frickin-#1. I have made coutless posts telling my love for Alice in Chains and I don't really feel like writing another one, so lets just say I'm a huge fan. Glad I looked at this thread. It inspired me to listen to their unplugged album. What an album.

people entitled to their opinion, sure, but we don't need some of their opinions, especially when it adRAB nothing at all to the discussion, or if its obvious that they said it to be a little ****.

Alice In Chains :)
Newer - Check My Brain and A Looking In View :)

I think they have a pretty unique sound, and its weird how its classed as grunge (same as Nirvana) and yet they both sound completely and utterly different.
Both both awesome :)
