Alice in Chains...

Yes, I like them alot and dare I say that I'm most likely a bigger fan of the band and it's artists than most likely anyone else in this forum.I own all their albums, they are one of the banRAB that I jam to most often (Drums and Guitar), I own all of Jerry Cantrell's albums, I've seen Jerry Cantrell live many times and even own several of his guitar picks that I've got personally from the shows and I'll always tell new fans of the band that they are most likely the best, all around most talented hardrock band of the 90's as well.A.I.C.'s music has also stood the test of time very well, influencing many of the great banRAB of today and the past highly.Anyone ever hear of the band GoRABmack?Their sound and name alone clearly leaRAB A.I.C. fans to believe that GoRABmack was definitely influenced by them.I also own Live Facelift, by the way, incase anyone else here can relate.I'd recommend everyone here to check it out if ya haven't already.I can't wait to see what Jerry Cantrell comes up with next!!!

WE DIE YOUNG.

i haven't heard much from them, but would is such an awsome song i have to like them, i've sorta listened to their best of and i liked it, but i never went further, something i hope to correct when i get my RABl.....i love their sound, plus it takes me back to my childhood, especially would, that's one of the first songs i remeraber liking on my own, i was about 10 or 11.....

This thread inspired me to go back and listen to Facelift, I completely forgot how awesome it is. Dirt is still their best album but not by alot, this album is just great for it's raw power from the very opening of 'We Die Young'. My favorite track has always been 'It Ain't Like That', that intro really gets to me. Other high-points include 'Bleed The Freak', 'Love, Hate, Love', 'Sunshine', and 'Put You Down'. I forgot how much I love this album and totally owe this thread for bringing it back in my mind.

I actually heard he's supposed to be pretty awesome, though I haven't heard and so I won't say for sure. That's what I've heard, though.
I better check them out one of these days.

I'm definitely liking the new incarnation of the band more and more.... I heard another recent track by them which i actually found really impressive... I could wind up buying the new album and everything, whereas I wouldn't have even considered it before...

I like all of your choices. One of my favorites is Again, pretty up-tempo for AIC, kind of a punk-rock song. I'm sure you've heard it
My other favorites:
Heaven Beside You-the song that got me into AIC
Would?
Got Me Wrong
Down in a Hole (one of the best songs when you're feeling down, I usually don't listen to these kind of lyrics, but man, it's such a good song.)
Over time, this seems to be my favorite early 90's Seattle grunge band along with Pearl Jam>Soundgarden>Nirvana. I.E. they're all great:::hphones:

I seen them in dublin last year they were supporting avenged seven fold and metallica. Yes yoy heard me supporting avenged seven fold which was a f*cking joke. But all that aside they were really good.

I would always have considered AIC grunge, but definitely the heavier / more metal side of it.... I'm really not even sure what "sludge metal" is... attack of the genre titles again!

Im not the typical maiden fan, that in its own right is a horrible personal insult.

The typical maiden fanboy is someone who is hell bent on trying to convince everyone that Maiden are the greatest band in the world.

Im simply defending them from your invalid rants, a completely different scenario.

It doesn't matter how great a day I'm having, how fast paced the day is, how great my life is. Nutshell always slows it down and makes me calm. I ****ing love it. One of the greatest songs I've ever heard.
