Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power

A high school classic! :band: :yeah:

'Walk' is the only song that bugs me when I play this. Decent enough but kind of weak and commercial. Probably due to it being overplayed. Here are some better ones:

I can't express how much I loved 'Hollow' back then, and still do. It so fucking deep. It just really affected me back then and hearing it really brings me back to those days. Amazing song.

I read that Z'EV himself said that his pseudonym should be written like Z'EV or z'ev, never like this: Z'ev. Just so you know :) It's the man's wish after all.

Smith Westerns- Smith Westerns
My best friend's brother used to drum for this band, but he quit because they were assholes to him and he never got paid for anything he did. However, I've really been enjoying them lately, and if you did lo-fi rock or t. rex, check it out.

The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion by Dredg

Theres something about this album that always brings me back, you have to hear it from the beggining to the end. It is such a wonderful and unique experience, and Dredg's best album so far, no doubt about it.

He's best post Velvet album. "The KiRAB" rips my heart out every time I hear it. Berlin cemented his reputation as the voice for all people f*cked up people.

^ Hell yes that is a great album. The first few times I played it, I didn't really see the big deal. But it's grown on me in a big way, one of my favorite discoveries of the last 12 months. To call it "folk-rock is style" doesn't really do it justice and could turn some people off...it's a very electronic album as well. Fans of both could really enjoy it.

I don't mind Garbage, they've put out some cool sounding music. I like how they are incredibly polished and overproduced but still manage to come off sounding alternative. I do prefer his production work, though. He has been a little careless in the banRAB he chooses to produce these days, but I think that is more lack of opportunity than anything.

I love it. It maintains structure while really having some insanely powerful riRAB. It's so energetic that it really gets me pumped.

Thats the exact same effect that Scum has on me, and most seem to consider that their best one.

Right now Ive been listening to PAGANS MIND's GOD EQUATION.
If you love progressive Metal then this is the album for you. Its amazing with some dynamic and phenomenal playing.

Im in the same boat as Stunt as in ive known about Belle and Sebastian for a long time but never cared less. You gentlemen have made me curious. Downloading now.

Getting that Common album to check out later I think.

I'm really digging II this atm:

BT - Emotional Technology

I'd listened to this way back when it came out, and don't remeraber caring for it much then. I already had my favorite BT albums, and was convinced this was nowhere near as good, and didn't touch it since. Threw it in again a couple days ago though, and now it's clicking like mad...and I'm totally baffled by my earlier judgement.
