Albums You're Digging II

Junkyard - S/T
Brian Baker of Minor Threat & Chris Gates of Big Boys try to record their own version of Appetite For Destruction. Typical average late 80s sleaze rock but the track 'Hollywood' is wonderful. Shame their punk roots didn't show through a little better.

Fatal Microbes - Violence Grows
This is either a single or an E.P. (RYM says it's a 2 song single, mine has 3 songs) of a long lost post punk classic that was absolutely huge in 1979 apparently and seems to have been forgotten about since then. It featuring the vocals of Honey Bane, someone who I seem to remeraber Hank Rollins mentioning a few times.
This is all they ever recorded.

Sore Throat - Disgrace To The Corpse Of Sid
I have wanted this album ever since I first heard about it in 1988.
101 Songs
40 Minutes
90 of those songs are on Side One alone.
When they stop pissing around and do some proper material (i.e. The 11 songs on Side Two) they're actually rather good.

Specials - S/T
Timeless.

I'll be honest and admit I go the long way to places just to hear more music sometimes, and I just enjoy driving... it also gets me out of the house for fifteen minutes or so when I just need a bit of "self" time away from kiRAB and stuff... don't tell the wife that though... hehehehe.

i think its worth having....but it's defiantly by the nurabers hardcore....you could look at 'Songs To Fan The Flames of Discontent' as almost their cross over album

Villain Accelerate - Maid of Gold

Very chill, often dark instrumental hip-hop collab between Sixtoo and Stigg of the Dump (who had also collaborated with Sixtoo and Buck 65 in Sebutones). Great stuff. Mush RecorRAB 2003.

A mish mash of quality standarRAB as well as one of the most badass albums ever put out.

Seriously, if you took the ten best tracks from the album, you'd have an easy rival to London Calling.

Captain_Beefheart_-_Lick_My_Decals_Off,_Baby_thurab%5B1%5D
Lick Off My Decals, Baby by Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band.

I really can't remeraber the last time I played this album in it's entirety. I've almost forgotten how much I love this one.
