Albums You're Digging II

I'll have to check it out then, most of the material I've heard by Nosdam is relatively heavy, it'd be nice to hear him tackle something different for a change.

Enjoying myself some good ol' late eightie Aussie indie / pub roxk, in the form of Hunters and Collectors' "Ghost Nation" and thew Go Betweens' "16 Lovers Lane" album... both oof which are quite the creative high points for each band...

Really can't get enough of The Fall at the minute. The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall is my new favourite.

LOL!!! Very funny indeed! Iwonder if Johnson and Johnson took out a patent suit against him for that one...

It's still about Crowded House for me this week.... it's soothing my "good cellphone ruined in an instant" nerves this week... :-)

NZ band. :)

My favourite NZ band is Jakob (post-rock). In fact, they're one of my favourite post-rock banRAB overall.

The Stage Names is pretty good. There's something really beautiful about A Girl In Port.

Wasn't really sure what to expect but I ended up really loving it. Some of the songs are beautiful and soft while others, like Звёзды умрут в своей пустоте, когда солнце увидит закат, really caught me off guard. I mean this song is DARK. So this really covers the bases of what I like. Soft and ethereal one minute, screeching and dark the next.

Fair enough, each to their own and what not. I just find the Lostprophets extremely shite. :D Velvet Underground & Nico is a 5 star album for me.
