Albums You're Digging II

^ I've said it before, so I'll say it again - what an album.

^ Same goes for one of the less-publicised classics of 1st wave British punk here. One of the old favourites this.

Asylum by Disturbed
Great hard rock/nu-metal album. I love Dan Donegan's guitar work in this album as well as David Draiman's lyrics. My favorite tracks would be Asylum, Another Way To Die, The Animal, and Warrior.
Does This Look Infected by Sum 41
Gotta love Sum's poppy punk sound from the early 2000's. Still Waiting, The Hell Song and Over My Head are all worth listening to.
The Sufferer and The Witness by Rise Against
My favorite band. Tim McIlrath provides great lyrics and an amazing voice to back them up as well. Best songs would be Charaber the Cartridge, Prayer of the Refugee, Drones, and The Good Left Undone.

It's a happy music day. The sun is shining and I must be in a positive mood for this evening.

The Dukes of Stratosphear - Chips from the Chocolate Fireball

This is one of the tracks I like most, "Your Gold Dress".

Ah, yes. Storm & Stress' self titled album. At first listen, it may strike you as odd, and pointless, but by the second listen, it becomes all clear. frantic drums pound, while glass is being randomly smashed and Ian says haunting, quiet worRAB in a broken, shattered voice. It's actually quite beautiful, in a way.

Shane MacGowan & the Popes - The Snake

Just as good as, and a lot more rocked-up than anything he did with the Pogues. If it weren't or a super-lame Sinead O'Connor duet, it'd be among my favourite albums.

DISTANToblivion.... thats cool! no worries!!! Ya know i also should take a second listen to that CD and evaluate it as an older more opened minded individual... I was definitely keyed in to a much different musical asthetic at the time I bought it, if I remeraber rightly...

YES. I haven't heard anyone on here talking about Acid Bath. I used to be all about them in middle and high school. Gotta admit, though. I dig When the Kite String Pops more.

Even though I really liked Smashing Pumpkins, this is one album I never warmed to. :(

Maybe it's through a lack of listening but meh, can't see what everyone see's in it as of yet.
