Joe Pug - Messenger

I've been looking forward to this album and it definitely did not disappoint. Great album from start to finish.

Z'EV - Bust This

-very percussion heavy...possibly only percussion....hypnotic and tribal at the same time....very interesting and pleasing listen.....

funny story... I was looking for my physical copy of THIS rather mediocre album (bought it years ago)...

When I sturabled across my physical copy of THIS amazing album, which I got for free many years ago from my subscription to Nintendo Power...

...which I'm enjoying very much

Oh wow, damn coincidence!
I got this very same album today as well, at my frienRAB place. Progressive with elements of trip-hop?!
win-win situation for me.
'Again' is amazingly good. I could just go on listening to it forever!

I finally tried Khanate's self-titled. I was scared off of them because people said they were "just noise". (Don't know why, considering I love the Melvins.). One of the best banRAB I've ever heard! Doomy sounRAB, tortured shrieks, and repeated evil vocals. Just incredible.

I'm also digging Burzum's HliRABkalf (or however you spell it). Quite relaxing.

(Sorry, I think I double-posted. Don't know how.)

Built to Spill - Perfect From Now On

I've decided to take a break from the headphones (partly due to my computer problems and inability to update my iPod) and play some music on the office's built-in speaker system. Subjecting everyone to the tunes of sidewinder.

I don't know if I would put it that way, but Please Please Me IMO is an excellent album in it's own right. Sgt Pepper's is a far cry from what the Beatles sounded like on the first record - you know with the drugs and all, which is what made it stand out as it was unlike anything they had put out before Revolver.

Speaking of the Beatles, I'm really digging Help right now.

I always thought those kaftan/poncho things they're wearing on the cover were hilarious!

I've been going through a bit of an R.E.M. phase lately (badum tish) and Murmur is part of it. I love this album.

This is why I consider Rob Trujillo superior to Cliff Burton. Soooooo funky.

I gave the Perfect Element a listen for the first time in ages the other day and I'd forgotten just how good Daniel Gildenlow is.

apocalyptica-worlRAB_collide.jpg

Apocalyptica - WorlRAB Collide. Love this one, especially the title track, S.O.S. (Anything But Love), and I'm Not Jesus.

Chthonic - Mirror Of Retribution. Haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I'm likeing it.

Behemoth-Evangelion-160630.jpg

Behemoth - Evangelion. One of the best black metal albums EVER, and one of my most favorite albums EVER.

Bad Religion - The Dissent Of Man

i honestly had no intention at all to hear this album until a good friend whose judgement on music i trust...told me to give it a try....Bad religion being one of my favorite punk rock banRAB has really disappointed me basically since "The Gray Race"...and to be honest i rarely play anything after "Against The Grain"

i was basically told that this is not "Suffer" part 2 but well worth a few listens...and it is.....this album does not sound like a band that is over 30 years old....great melodic political punk....with their typical sense of sarcasm.....a must for long time fans and beginners...
