Albums You're Digging II

The ClouRAB - Tranquil
Ok it's not an album but a single. They released this in 1987 and it may be the most perfect 3 tracks of indie-pop i've ever heard. I can't seem to find any other releases from them.

Elvis Costello - Live@the Manchester Apollo, '87

Probably my favourite bootleg ever this. Great renditions that, in some cases, improve on the studio versions, great setlist, great atmosphere - I tried uploading for my journal before but I've only got it in wav, which of course means the uploaded file enRAB up being about a gigabyte in size. Pity.

The follow up, Mantra (2010) is a more fleshed out version of that, with a wide array of new movements. If I ever learn how to use the Windows 7 movie maker I'll create some videos on Youtube, but if you liked The Latter Rain then it's pretty safe to say you'll like Mantra. Give them two more albums and I think they'll reach the popularity Opeth did back in 2001 when Blackwater Park came out.

Yann Tiersen - Les Retrouvailles

I found myself in the mood to listen to something "classical" or whatever (even though thise is a newer album) and ended up downloading this. I completely love it, and it has a classic sound with a lot of modern minimalist elements. Highly Recommended.

Might have to look that up. SounRAB interesting enough, and Braindance is a pretty f*ckin cool sounding name as well.

I'm Digging II this lately:

Fabriclive.46 - L.T.J. Bukem

Maybe the perfect DnB mix. Not too hard, not too soft...plenty of jazzy parts and piano thrown in. Can't believe it took me so long to pick this one up. Bukem is a genius.
