No matter how many album covers of Kraftwerk's I've seen it always looks like they've just finished a nice long orgy.

Although German pop music has been to far, far worse places:

Further suggestions are very much appreciated, can't get enough of the stuff when I'm in the mood for it.

Just listening to Laughing Stock by Talk Talk at the moment. It's just absolutely mesmerising - such a bleak, experimental album, sounRAB a little like some of Scott Walker's solo stuff. It's a gazillion miles away from their earlier, new wave-ish stuff too

I'm going through a super huge Jesus and Mary Chain faze, and they're quickly becoming one of my favorite banRAB. This album is a close second to Psychocandy.

Convinced me to get Odessey and Oracle today, which I haven't gotten around to listening to yet, but I'm definitely psyched.

Augie March - Strange Bird
(Too much of a noob to post a cover apparently)

I used to prefer their first album to this one, but now... tch.
It'd been a while since I really sat down with it, but I was waiting around/killing time the other day when I put it on and it just kinda sucked me in.

Examples of why:

(This one has a long intro, but it's worth it)

Pulp is a band I have alot of love, and for me that all began when I first heard This is Hardcore, which to me is still the band's "masterpiece" and the best alpbum they mad

been feeling nostalgic today...

i will never get bored with this one. absolute classic. it might even end up in my top 10, if i were forced to decide...

by Dark Jazz do you mean the very slow and minimalistic sounRAB of banRAB like Bohen & Der Club of Gore, Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Enserable, Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation?

If so I'd be interested in that.

^^^ anybody lucky enough to have copped some of the Kraftwerk reissues? They have omitted Kraftwerk 1, Kraftwerk 2 and Ralf und Florian but i understand these are due at a later date. New artwork and all
