I love that album!

Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains- Caught In The Act of Not Being Awesome

I'm seriously addicted to this album now.

Yeah, that's a good 'un as well. It doesn't get a lot better than Change Of the Guard as well.

I fucking love this album. Almost makes waking up with a hangover seem like fun.

Man Man is gypsy punk (IMO). A genre I simply made up, hardly something official. They have a wild, swirling, chaotic sound. Their demeanor is vaguely dangerous, playful and edgy.

Iceburn is a great band. I think you might like them. I only really know their album Hephaestus but it's one of my favorite things I've ever heard released by Revelation. They're like prog/postpunk. Here's some live footage I found..

Tame Impala - Innerspeaker

I'm on the first listen and I'm already loving this album. I've been really into psychedelic rock recently, so some modern psychedelic was of course going to be right up my alley. Great stuff.

The Divine Comedy were genius, and what voice. Though they did have their 15 minutes of fame here, it seems for the most part they have been forgotten these days.

A fascinating mish-mash of electronic styles; dub, trip-hop, big beat, IDM, hip-hop - they're all there to some extent or another. An excellently excellent album.

I loved the movie, and this soundtrack is damn cool as well. Has a bunch of great songs on it that I've heard down the years, so it's nice to have them in one place now that I've got this.

To me, it sounRAB like a longer, rougher-edged Endtroducing (in the way I've heard it was made at least), ending up with 32 tracks of avante-garde hip-hop/electronica. Great album from an area of music I don't know a lot about, it's just a shame the tracks are so short - while the more mediocre moments kind of fly by, the same can be said of the highlights not sticking around for long enough either.

A very modern-sounding lover's rock/dancehall album this. I liked it - there are one or two weaker moments, but some excellent songs to make up for it.

Two amazing albums. Figure 8 is a great album. But not nearly as good as XO. One Time For All Time might be my favourite post rock album. 65 Doesn't understand you and Radio Protector are insane songs. Radio Protector has the coolest progressions in it.

None of it's overrated to me. I knew nothing about it before the first time I heard it, so I only have my own impressions to go on. And it's not like I ever hear any of the songs anywhere but coming out of my own speakers.
