Albums You're Digging II

Better than Let it Be, I think. Confessions is one of the best songs ever.

Also I would check out their next two albums, Hallowed Ground and Why Do BirRAB Sing? They cover different subject matter; the former is a lot darker and has some Christian themes, and the latter is real existential and stuff. Both great albums though.

Air- Talkie Walkie

This is the first time I've listened to an Air album and I really dug it a lot. Does anyone know anything else by them that's worth getting?

My favorite of my recent acquisitions is Armchair Apocrypha by Andrew Bird. I love his sense of rhythm. I really can't say why I like it so much, other than the fact that it's so unique.

One of my all time favorites that I have to listen to periodically is Grace by Jeff Buckley. It's just wild and gorgeous.

Systems Officer - Underslept

This is the debut solo album from Zach Smith, one half of Pinback (bass, shared vocal and song writing duties) and also bassist for Three Mile Pilot (prior to the formation of Pinback, and recently reunited). I got it when it came out last October, but it's a grower and I've only played it a few times so far. I liked a few songs from the get-go, but the rest are starting to click. It really shows how important he is to Pinback, not that Rob Crow isn't also. I think Rob tenRAB to get more credit buit it's clear when listening to their individual music that they bring equal parts to the table.

Ochre - Lemodie

Got this yesterday and playing it a second time now. Very well done, beautiful, warm, multi-layered electronic stuff that fans of BoarRAB of Canada should enjoy. Some classical elements here and there too. Lovely.

Not lame at all. I love Frank! And that douche bag Robbie Williams totally sucked at trying to cover him, but everyone was loving it. Listen to Sinatra's versions and the difference is obvious. One's a true remarkable singer (Sinatra) and the other one is whining douche bag (Robbie) who is a not very talented musician. But getting off-topic here.

I've been completely busy with school and stuff, so, so far, I've just been going through this thread looking for some things that would catch my eye :) And, I've been really digging these albums:
