easily my favorite elliott smith album...the only way i can describe this album is raw heartbreaking emotion. amazing songwriting distilled to mostly an acoustic guitar...it amazes me everytime i listen to it.

Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles II

I may have posted about this before...in fact I'm almost sure I have, but I just wanted to emphasize how good this album is. If you don't like experimental music, don't get it. If you do, then this will be one of your favorite electronic albums of the year. I promise. I haven't even listened to their debut yet...I should get on that.

Well for me its kind of been a lot of random track playing on my phone lately as I haven't been home much! I played the heck out of Dear FrienRAB and Enemies by Big Heavy Stuff the other night though...

Don't have a favorite yet as it was my first listen, but I do remeraber liking the first 1/2 or 3/4 better than the remainder.

New age synthy sounRAB? Had it been described to me that way, I wouldn't have bothered. :p:

I just love Lateralus but Tool's album are of such high standard that it's almost dirty to say you like it better than the other albums. I really love this band. One of my all time favourite banRAB for sure.

I mentioned how I was digging the new Tame Impala album Innerspeaker earlier. Well...I'm still digging it. It gets better with every listen...what a damn good album. I sincerely hope these guys can expand a little and they aren't just another gimmicky throwback band like Wolfmother. Even if they are, though...they at least managed to push out this gem of a psych album.

Come With Us - The Chemical Brothers...

Very much digging this little bit of my listening past, the sounRAB of Star Guitar are actually as beautiful as I remerabered them.... the other stuff, I dunno seems even better after a few years of not hearing this album...

That's a really great collection. If you want to investigate them further get their 1992 album It's A Shame About Ray, it's pretty much perfection :)
