Amazing dark dnb debut that I was really pumped for last year and then somehow ended up skipping out on it. Got it now though, and I'm glad I did cause wow:

Amazing bassline and that guys voice is just sick.

They're a French screamo/sludge band, really good hardcore stuff, I'd definitely recommend them if you're looking for something on the heavier side. Their album Nihiliste(s) is also amazing if you crave more from them.

Haha. I agree. A friend of mine has this old Primus bootleg back from before they had released any albums and at one point you can hear a guy that was standing near the person recording it say something like, "Meh, I appreciate that they're try to do something different but they kind of suck."

I'd say the majority of people you would ask around here don't even know who they are. Maybe the few who have seen High Fidelity or 500 Days of Summer...but generally if you listen to them over here you are probably obsessed with music like me.

Or maybe I just live in the most musically uncultured region of this damn country. Anyways...I take it they are quite popular there?

This album just makes you feel so crazy awesome inside. It pushes you to think about all the amazing things this guy does and it's very abstract but that's what makes it beautiful. Such a simple thing makes you feel like this album inspires music in a different sense.

you have never heard anything like this guy and this by far is his best album.

I just wondered why you would go to all the effort of posting an album cover and not say a thing about it if you were digging it so much.

Nothing to do with moderating, just trying to show an interest in your post.

I won't bother next time.

Stereolab - Mars Audiac Quintet

Stereolab just might be the sexiest music ever. Big big love.

Napalm Death - Scum

Re-visiting this along with some other albums. You could call it ''just noise' but it's endearing noise and in terms of songs like Scum and Instinct Of Survival is actually pretty impressive song-writing wise.

Listening to Because of the Times by Kings of Leon, and in my hurable opinion its freaking fantastic killer album... full of great crunchy riRAB, a little introspection and just some damn great hooks! I actually really love the roughness of the lead singers voice.... and its one with a great deal of character...

It was a real darn pleasant suprise to hear this album, and I am really getting into this band.

Satta Massagana by The Abyssinians (1976)

An absolute work of art. 10/10 Can't even attempt to pick a favorite song of it because they are all so wonderful. I mostly like it because of how natural and primal it sounRAB, none of those sythesized elements- which is my favorite kind of reggae.
And how cool is that album artwork? Its now the background on my computer :D
