Albums You're Digging II

I'd say It's A Wonderful Life would be a great starting point, get it listened to!

Diamond Eyes is absolutely awesome too, really good record. Deftones are such a solid band, I'm yet to dislike anything they've released.

I think people's dislike of other peoples music tastes largely revolves around culture. For example, many people dislike emo music because many people dislike emos. Many people dislike drum n bass because of the twats that sit on the back of the bus forcing you to listen to it on their **** quality phones. And personally, I hate screamo because I hate scene kiRAB.

Tonight, it's time to dig some In Flames... namely, their most recent album, A Sense of Purpose... derided by some, but i find it quite darn enjoyable... I have no problem with it whatsoever!

album i'm listening to right now and thoroughly enjoying with a few glasses of plonk is the elvis 68 special come back album and there appears to be extras at the end elvis's r&b's

Well I've heard quite a few people say that it's not as good as the other two, so I figured I'd at least ask for some opinions here before I spend $25 on the album.

Can't stop listening to the third track "Love You". Great album all in all.

I took a little time away from staring at a PC screen and listening to MP3's through headphones and today played REAL C.D's through a REAL stereo system. I forget I have one sometimes. So today I blasted a couple of faves:

Jeff Buckley - Grace (Legacy Edition)

^ If you want to explore Mastodon, I'd work backwarRAB if I were you. They started as an Grindcore/Hardcore/Sludge metal band. If you like Blood Mountain, then you'll probably like everything else they did.

That is a very soulful Dylan record, I believe he had merabers of Dire Straits backing him. It's all very well done, but there are a couple of tunes on it that Dylan attempts to sing that are so very far out of his range, that it's very endearing to hear him attempt, (failing miserably) to hit the high notes. Some people think this was his worst vocal performance, but I love it.

yeah if you dont mind! i'll keep trying the link tonight and let you know.

Cave In were a progressive metalcore band turned prog band turned melodic alt.rock with a twist, or something along those lines, They got signed to RCA for this record (the MTV2 one) and swiftly dropped. I dig them

A bit all over the place with the albums I have enjoyed today...

First up... The Go Betweens - 16 Lovers Lane

Then... Peter Gabriel 2....

And Now... Dark Tranquility - Projector...
