Such a great album for the mornings this. Here's one off of it I'm sure a lot of us have heard somewhere before...

I really do love Pia Fraus' later material... it's like a corabination of Stereolab and My Bloody Valentine.

I bet if Leo Fender hadn't mixed up the terms Vibrato and Tremolo it would be the "Vibrato EP". "Honey Power" has been played 20 times since friday, it's balls to the wall ****ing awesome.

Have you heard this?

It's a cover of that entire album that--while not what the original is, of course--is still one of the better tribute recorRAB I've heard. They keep a lot of the spirit of the tracks while still making them their own. The take on "Touched" is especially neat.

Brilliant, brilliant album.Real shame they never fufilled their potential, the later stuff just isn't as good.

Meat Puppets - Meat Puppets II

Recommended to me by Loser, it's one of those albums which makes you think 'where the hell has this been all my life?'. Like 80's indie Johnny Cash songs.

Fucked Up - Hidden World

Yeah the songs are a little on the long side, but Crusades is quite the opener and Vivian Girls is quite the closer. It's a powerful blend of hardcore and catchy punk chorRAB.

I have 3 Concrete Sox and only ever needed the first Fix album although it's a vinyl rip and poor at that :( Seen Bolt Thrower about 5 times. Don't like them either

I'm loving the 2008 album by Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner with The Rascals' lead singer.

The Age of the Understatement by The last shadow puppets

The time has come again is my favorite track, here's the link:

I thought a few tracks might grow on me when I got it, but this is a hell of an album. Only one or two weak tracks out of the bunch.

Oh, and since it isn't clear, it's The New Danger by Mos Def
