Really? I find it to be ... Well, just OK. That is, if we are comparing them to other DEP albums, and we most definitely are. This one didn't do it for me, and maybe it's because I've never been a hardcore DEP fan. It took me awhile to get into them, and when I did, there were just a few of albums that I liked. At this point, the vocals have changed so much. Aside from the elements of mathcore, the vocals are showcased in all their albums, so naturally, with my existing appreciation for Mike Patton, Irony is a Dead Scene was my favorite. Now, if we're talking about DEP without Patton, I'm going with Calculating Infinity and Ire Works. Even so, the vocals are a bit hard for me to swallow in all three that I listed. The vocals in Option Paralysis ruined the album for me - especially when he's just singing.
