Albums You're Digging II

The Fall - Our Future, Your Clutter

Still think it's the best thing they've done in a fairly long time. Fantastic bass sound to the whole thing - the more I listen to it, the more I'm convinced it sounRAB brain-meltingly awesome live.

I'll search them up, that makes me excited because to be honest I've always liked Panda better than Avey maybe it's because I like Person Pitch and Young Prayer better than any AC albums, probably because of that. I'm stoked.

New York Dolls - A Hard Days Night
Complete set of their demos from March 1973 covering both their albums & a bunch of covers. Really good quality too. In fact I think it's better than their debut.

Saint Vitus - Born Too Late
I've had about 4 of their albums on my HD for about 2 years now and totally forgot to listen to them. It's very good, very Sabbathy.

PainKiller - Guts Of A Virgin
John Zorn joined by Bill Laswell from Last Exit & Mick Harris from Napalm Death. How could I turn that line up down.

David Bowie - Scary Monsters
His best album since Scary Monsters, or something.

Sure, I'll take a link. You got me with the headphones thing. I love music that neeRAB a good pair...and black metal doesn't generally have that. I'm quite interested now.

I definitely enjoyed Eminem Show, but to me he never outshone the Marshall Mathers LP. And then after the Eminem Show, he kind of came up short with every succeeding album. Only a few tracks after that grabbed my attention like Encore and No Apologies and a a few others. His underground tracks are where its at though

'Young Bride' was great live, everyone really got into it. 'Branches' was the second encore and last song of the night, everyone got very emotional too.

You should check out 'The Courage Of Others' as well, another damn fine album by them. It's much more Celtic and earthy sounding (if I am making any sense there).

Wolf Parade- Apologies To The Queen Mary

I've been getting into these guys a lot, they're very similar to TV On The Radio, but definitely not as good.

The Zorabies- Begin Here

This might be my new favorite album to fall asleep to.

^ I will be picking that up immediately, don't you worry. :)

As for myself, this here is one hell of a kick in the ass-

Terence Trent D'Arby - Symphony Or Damn (1993)

Some of the most intense soul-tinged pop I've ever run across, incorporating reggae, some 60's baroque, hard rock, funk galore, and even a few jazz and hip-hop touches in an attempt to create a supposed record of the ages. And I suppose in some ways it's about as great a success as anyone could hope for.

^That is one of my all time favorite albums! Her voice is so bluesy on this one, I just love it. I could listen to 'This House is on Fire' on repeat.

I've heard more than just this album. Hall of the Mountain Girl is my favorite and I've heard Warrior on the Edge of Time which is really good. Any other recommendations?
