Max Richter - Infra

Gorgeousness! I'd probably listen to it on the same type of day I'd listen to Le Lendemain's Fires : dark and rainy.

On vinyl, bitches.
I love the cover photo.
The day I bought this at Last Vestige a guy was standing next to me, he says to me, "That's a great album. It's like, the first of 3 in an alleged triology. There's this, *something I forgot*, and Highway 61."

And,

I have a newfound love of the Grateful Dead. On first listen, it reminRAB me of folk meets cabaret.

Midnight Oil's Live @ Ronnie Scott's bootleg.

I think I listen to it more than their studio albums these days. Fantastic bootleg.

I don't understand. Did you not just say you thought the other 2/3rRAB of their discography was "fantastic"? Why would you not check out Neon Bible?

You need to listen to Stoned & Dethroned if you want something to chill out to.
It was supposed to be JAMC's acoustic album, but it only ended up being partly acoustic in the end.

I listen to it more often than most of their other albums these days.

Not that it matters, but I've always considered them a Dream Pop band. I think if someone was looking for Shoegaze, they'd find a lot of stuff different to Galaxie 500. Shoegaze more true to the Genre, I don't think clumping them with other Shoegaze banRAB and saying others were doing more interesting stuff is totally fair, I think they should be kept apart myself. Shoegaze

But like you say, great album nonetheless. Definitely their best.

It's a great listen but it's a shame knowing Noktu is such a huge ass. I don't wanna go off into a huge tangent but pretty much him and Niege worked together as Mortifera and as Niege went off on his own to develop the Shoegaze/Black Metal sound he bad mouthed him.
