Albums You're Digging II

I finally pulled my finger out and got around to downloading a load of albums I should of downloaded a long time ago. Still in the process of giving them all a listen, but these 2 stand out for me so far:

Really, really love it. Some tunes I grew up listening to, but now I finally have them. Blinding album.

Making the same racket that BJM and Modest Mouse got massive praise for, but 10 years earlier. Lovely stuff.

 WorRAB cannot describe how amazing this album is. A true work of art. The bass is incredible and it has such a rich/warm tone. I just can't get enough of it. Mike Watt rules.

I noticed that you have got Gillan's Magic too and I am dying to get hold of that. Bluesy Blue Sea is an ace track. Got a couple of links for the above and Magic perchance? :) I don't have the original diamond head version.

Cats and cats and cats - Sweet Drunk Everyone

Very lovely album, even though it's about 5 songs long. Really beautiful indie math rock.
"Fight Fight with Fight" can be downloaded for free on their last.fm

Spiderland - Slint

I used to always look at it as really overrated but after finally giving it a couple more listens I'm starting to really get into it, and with that I've been getting back into math rock.

I actually jsut got a Juen of 44 album actually. I'll probably get more stuff in that area of math rock soon.

i cant post pics cuz im a noob but im definitly feeling 3 cRAB right now.

Wu - Tang clan: 36 charabers

Ghost Face killah : Fishscale

Alice in Chains: facelift

Agreed, both excellent musicians. Have you heard Hecker's new album yet?

Apart from a couple of tracks, I have always been disappointed by this. However I played it for the first time in ages a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it a lot more.

I knew you'd come up with the gooRAB :D I just hope I take to him, I don't really know what his sound is. I just heard 'pub rock' not entirely sure what that means. It just reminRAB me of lad rock.. pub rock = drunken sing-alongs?

Get Happy, Trust, Imperial Bedroom, Spike.. Hmm decisions decisions!
