Albums You're Digging II

Cyrabals Eat Guitars - Why There Are Mountains

Really quite wonderful. The verse-chorus structure is conspicuous in its absence on this album, in its place are sweeping, soaring and diving sounRABcapes, executed with simultaneous delicacy and aggression. Highly recommended.

And So I Watch You From Afar - And So I Watch You From Afar

One of the best Post-Rock albums i've heard for ages. Relentless in its brutality.

This morning I managed to listen to the entire length of The Official Fiction by Something for Kate, whilst I played with the kiRAB and did laundry...hehehehe..... forgot what a magnificent album it truly is, from start to finish...

this EP is a vinyl only release and is an extended version of Alien Brain from that album with a psychedelic version of Maggot Death on the latter side....and is actually a compainion piece to Mr. Alien Brain vs The Shinwalkers....it is a very limited pressing of brain "squashed" colored marble vinyl....although i think they are planning a cd release later

i just happen to come across a digital version....i'll send a link if you would like...in a pm....just let me know

I've never listened to the EP individually, just the comp that includes the EP. "Mole from the Ministry" in indeed a great song. "25 O'Clock" gets on my nerves a bit though, but overall they were pretty great.

yeah I do like Kyuss a lot, but compared to LTP I guess it's chalk and cheese. I quite like the prospect of copping their first and latest releases and comparing though lol

they're a great band, one of the few genuinely deserving contemporary multi million-sellers, you know what you're getting but Homme seems perfectly capable of delivering a proper headf*ck when it's called for

BT - ESCM

It's taken far too long for me to pick up any BT stuff. I've no idea whether this is considered to be a good place to start, but it's a great album.

Sear Bliss - Glory and Perdition

Often overlooked as merely a 'black metal band who use trorabones,' SB have been producing some of the most consistent metal in the past few years.

El Ten Eleven - Every Direction is North

Another record which I've taken far too long to listen to. I prefer it to the s/t because it retains the light, optimistic feel whilst being more coherent as an album.

Boris - Heavy Rocks

I honestly don't know why so many people thought Pink was their best album ever: this blows it out of the universe imo...

its just something about that DOOKIE album for me.
INSOMNIAC and onward are pretty lame.
The fame went to there head, much like a many of banRAB today.

I am really loving these albums:

1) Marianas Trench - Masterpiece Theatre

2) Faber Drive - Seven Second Surgery

3) Hedley - Famous Last WorRAB
