Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG. This band has *gasp* INFLUENCES.

For shame.

I honestly don't think Incubus (or 311 for that matter) sound that generic. If someone can find me a band that you think sound like Incubus before Incubus, I'd like that person to show me so I can laugh at his/her incompetence and lack of hearing.

I imagine Faith No More is gonna come up. Fungus Amongus has a very strong Mike Patton influence but I think Incubus came into their own after that.

I am.

The last few posters did it on their own but you can send me nominations and I'll make it the next matchup when this one dies out.

Originally my policy was that once an album got 5 votes, it was the victor and the next matchup would start but people disliked that fornula because it made matchups too brief so instead I'm letting matchups last until people stop voting and then the next one starts.

Unfortunately now people think I'm just being lazy.

Hmm funny, I put that Stiff Little Fingers album on my iPod the other day, so I'll refresh myself today. However, I've never listened to any Pogues albums so that won't help me vote.

Exactly what I'm thinking.

Stiff Little Fingers are all very nice, but that Pogues one is one of the most fun albums of all time, so it wins for me.

Which reminRAB me, I need to nip out and stock up on some wine in a bit :D

A Tribe Called Quest - 3
Outkast - 1

Easy answer! I like some songs on Stankonia but never felt it was consistently good. I can't say I'm really an Outcast fan overall, just not really my style I guess, even though they can write some great ones. "Ms. Jackson" is the biz. I guess I do pretty much agree exactly with what Janszoon said. That guy, he knows what's up sometimes.
