When you're attracted to someone, their age is probably not the first thing you think about. One thing to consider though is the guidelines/rules that the younger one's parents establish. With a 13 year old and a 17 year old, you'd need to follow what her parents decide, and not try to get her to follow the more relaxed freedoms you probably have. It could be something like she has to be home by 9 p.m. (for example), or she can't go out on school nights. If you and your friends are experimenting with drinking, it would encourage her to try as well - and that's just wrong. There's a whole lot of growing up that's done during each of those teenage years. So, basically, you'd be expected to act like the best role model within her own age group. If you can deal with that, you're a lot more likely to get the support of her parents.
If what you thought you felt for her only lasted one day, it's probably not something you should pursue.
