I have an 02 Nissan Altima and I'm looking to upgrade to a 1 DIN fold out 7" display deck and 2 12" Fusion Encounter Sub Pack and I don't want to pay Fry's electronics $100 to install it all so any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated Thanks.
Yea It Is Pretty Stright Foward You have To Pull out Your Old deck And get A wiring harness that fits your New one or you Can splice them Together it is not that hard just match the Colors
While You Have The Deck Out Hook You Your (BLUE) REM Wire as You Will Need It To Run Back To Your amp
Also Hook Up Your RCA Cables While It Is Out you Will Need That to Run back To Your Amp
So At This Point You Have Your Deck Up And Running
So Now You Take The Fuse out Of Your 12V (Red) Wire And Run It From Your Battery Back To Your Amp Make Sure It Is Tight
Next Hook Up Your Ground Wire Just Pull Back The Carpet In your trunk You Should find A Bolt Some where Put it on There Make Sure it Is On A non Painted Surface And Then Tighen it up
Next Hook Up Your REM (Blue) wire That Came From Your Cd Player And Also Your RCA
Then Hook Your Subs Up To Each Channel On The Back Of Your amp
you Should Have a Power Protection Light on The back of your amp It Should Be Green If Every Thing Is Hooked Up Right
Put Your Fuse Back In Your Red Wire And You Are Set To Go
Some Tips
Make Sure That The Fuse In Your Line Is Smaller then In Your Amp that Way If Something Ever Surges It Will pop your inline Fuse first leaving your amp unharmed
Another Tip Make Sure Your RCA Wires Is Not Close To Your RED 12V Wire because You Will Get a Humming When your Car is Running and Especialy when you rev you engine
