I'm stuck on this one guys. Its for a 2005 F350. I installed a headunit with a indash monitor. The monitor powers on but the cd player doesnt. But what i dont understand is the headunit use to power up but only the lights and the clock. Then I found out I did one wire wrong. After I fixed it which im sure its the correct wire now the headunit doesnt even turn on but the LCD does. I dont think i fried the headunit because the fuse has not burnt and I disconnected the battery. What do you think the problem is? Again the headunit doesnt work but the indash LCD does and the head unit was showing only time not the actual cd player but that was because of wrong wiring and now the wiring is correct because the lcd display works and not the headunit. It doesnt even turn on.
The headunit and indash LCD monitor are separate.

If you switched around a wire and now the unit does not even turn on, then I believe that is most likely not where the wire is supposed to be installed.

Although I have an idea that you can try. Since you know the LCD screen works, try connecting the power supply of the LCD through the radios power supply. If the LCD still works, then you may just have a faulty radio, but if it doesn't, then that means there is an issue with your power supply or negative wire.
