I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab with the stock 5 1/4" door and rear speakers still installed. And I'm wanting to replace all 4 speakers with aftermarket. But not sure about which brand(s) I should consider more. I've never put an aftermarket stereo in any of my vehicles before, so I don't know a lot about it, such as which brand(s) are more worth the money and more reliable and sound clearer. I've looked at Pioneer, and Alpine so far. Which both have a good name in the car audio industry.
I'm looking for a set of speakers, that will fit in place of the stock speakers without having to cut or widen anything (5 1/4"). But I want the new speakers, as small as they are, to have more "bump" to them than what I'm getting right now.
I'm also planning on buying a 10" Kicker Solo Baric L5 Subwoofer for more bass soon.
So out of the 3 different brands of speakers I'm interested in, Pioneer, Alpine and Kicker.
Which would you recommend more that won't break my wallet?
And if possible, list the differences as to why which brand is better than the others?
Thank You SO Much!
