After U340 Cricket bin flash no ERI

I flashed a vzw u340 with the cricket bin(via samsungpst lite) and now I have no eri or prl and esn is gone 0's. The cricket firmware did load, but there is no service signal. I tried to load the prl and it will not stick.... Any info would be great. I have been at this for weeks now. I have the solution for mms and web on the a870!
 
wow too bad no mms with these phones. I saw them today at Walmart for 29.99. I could have made a really good profit from these. people want their mms though.
 
what was your fix to load the prl when there was not a prl or eri on the device???

if you post your fix then others with the same issue can come to your thread and learn...

just a thought...
 
Hey I was wondering if anyone could help... I have an HTC mogul flashed to cricket service...When the phone was flashed over it was fully flashed but I could not access the internet nor could I access my picture mail.. I Downloaded a software (It was a bin folder) it was something like a sprint upgrade and opened it on the device.... I ran the zip file opener and it loaded and asked me to reset my device. After I reset the device i noticed that I only have text msg and e-mail options which I have not set up yet but my picture mail is gone. I can access the internet now as well but like I said my picture msg folder is completly gone... Is there anyway that you can help???? :confused:
 
so with the cricket .bin and 1040 PRL do you need to still manually edit the WAP, MMS settings in S-PST? I have them flashed and waiting activation- just wondering. I was about to follow some tutorial for the 410 and see if that would enable the wap/mms

Here is the solution for a u340 with no pri and no esn after flash!

type theses codes in 47*68#13580

Then use Unicdma or Cdmaworkshop to change the esn to the one under the battery and then use QPST to write the prl.
 
that is a given...i do that to all my u340's and i still had one that had no prl/eri...i thought you had a different fix...hmmm...i have done 43 of these u340's...maybe i forgot to enter the codes on one...not sure this will work but i'll check it out...i'm pretty sure i entered the codes on the phone...

i already took that one back, but i know a dealer that has had the same issue and can't fix it...i'll try on his phone and see what happens...i gave him those codes already, so i'm sure he has entered them...
 
I have been followin this issue also... I have found this to ocure after the customer runs a *228. It will complete if the min MDN are correct. But it seems to corrupt the MMS settins. I have seen this on 2 units. But I have not done enough follow-up to be sure.
 
it's not the ota...but i have created a .mmc that seems to fix it...however, i don't usually have a problem, it's dealers i train that are having the problem.
 
After loading the firmware, writing the esn, and loading the prl. For some reason when I do *228 the MDN and MIN nurabers change to some different nuraber and MIN. Also the PRL changes. It's funny every time you do the *228 it keeps changing over and over again. I tested this on 8 phones and it does it. Please help!
 
hey does anyone know how to recover a bricked u30 that flashes blue and white. i know by holding the nuraber 9 down it puts it in emergency download mode but how do i reload the bin because i tried everything in samsung pst and pst lite but just gives me status errors? cant get it working people.
 
That might be true however on all the other Flashed phones they get the $40.00 Plan and everything works just fine, however when it comes to the U340 thats the only one that has the problem, it can send but they cant get them.
