After a preliminary joint injunction is filed and she still left Nevada, what do I do?

File for and request a temporary order of custody. She has physical custody (because she had the baby with her) - and without a court order, there was no basis for the officers to physically stop her from leaving. That you filed for an injunction doesn't mean anything. All it means is that you are going to be making a request to a judge in the near future. You should have requested a temporary order on the day you filed. You can go back to court and request a temporary order of custody or, in the alternative, an order requiring your ex to return to Nevada. Since she fled the state after you served her with notice of your request, you probably have a good shot of getting the temporary order of custody.

If you do, this will allow you to go and get the baby. She will have to come back to Nevada to contest the temporary order.

I served my baby's mother and she took my baby on a plane with the cops allowing the whole thing. They said it was a civil matter, she had automatic custody and that I couldn't stop her. I filed the injunction served it and filed many other docs. How do I get my baby back?
