A few months ago I bought a 9242 and sold my 9200 to a friend. Now about two weeks ago my friend decided he has had enough of Bell due to there poor Csr's and lack of HD ect, ect. So he is now a happy Dish Net customer via a canadian broker, and man is all those HD channels awesome. He must have over a 100 as well a he bought the Vip 722 which I thought it was the same as the 9242 but I was wrong I think he has 55 hours of HD space on there. It makes me think twice about Bell myself. That is a whole nother issue though. Anyway my friend has 3 receiver's my old 9200 and an old 4000 as well as an old 6000 HD receiver, they all have Nagra 3 cards and are working great. So my friend transfered his 9200 and 4000 over to his dads account and canceled his account but Bell wont transfer the 6000 over untill after the 12 of Dec as that is when his billing cycle is and he knows that he has a free month of programming at the end due to the first double bill when you sigh up. He does not care about that extra month as well as he and his dad both have phoned and talked to different supervisors but they won't switch the final receiver over untill after the 12. Is there a way to get around this? Or does he infact have to wait untill then?
