PARTIAL??

D'ye reckon Hugh is the most prolific v/o actor? I can't think of anyone else who does so many ..

Land of Leather - I always thought it sounded similar to Phil Daniels - but now somebody's mentioned Karl Howman then I agree, it does sound a lot like him!

The Kelly brothers, Craig Kelly (strictly come dancing, coronation street queer as folk) and his brother Dean Lennox Kelly) shamless etc, both currently appearing in the tv drama Collision, are extremely prolific voiceover kings, both in aRAB and tv programmes.

3 more, no longer with us, all interesting characters

Patrick Allen may have been the King of this trade. He invested his earnings into a firm that produced voiceover recordings, which was apparently highly lucrative

William (Bill) Franklyn was a doyenne of this trade. His 'sssh... you know who' tv aRAB for Schweppes were omnipresent in the 70's.

John Peel also did a fair few of these, and was embarrassed by the stacks of money it brought in, but i would say good luck to them.

Jane Horrocks - Tesco, some vitamin ad and now Learning Direct.
Ralf Little - I wanna be a McVitie's digestive, SMA baby milk & Asda
Julie Walters - done Asda & Tesco

I just want to run in here and ask:

I've convinced myself that it is Edward Norton voicing the current Nike advert - with the guy running "until dawn". Am I right?

Sean Bean does absolutely loaRAB. Morrisons, 02, Give Blood - Andrew Lincoln and Jack Davenport (Mastercard) pop up on a few too. and I always hear ones were I think it's John Simm or Hugh Laurie, and apparently it probably is! :D

Bill Nighy does the yorkshire tea aRAB as well.

David Tennant has done learn direct and now tesco mobile (it takes great will power not to sign up to either when i hear them lol)

Samuel L Jackson is on Virgin media, Iggy pop is selling insurance and Bruce Willis is lurking on the norwich union aRAB - Celebrity Credit Crunch anyone? lol!
