Adoption, ways to incorporate a proud sense of culture?

We will be adopting a child of another race and culture than that of us. In which ways can we keep a good, steady sense of positive cultural influence during their upbringing with us while maintaining a feeling of integration and complete belonging to family and Society. The child will always know they are different but walk with pride and confidence because of the positive influences we have had and the child has had on our lives. We want to embrace and support and celebrate his/her difference to us and acknowledge the differnce in a positive manner without bringing so much attention to it that the child feels such a difference. It will only be an acceptance of what is, and an extremely positive one.

Would it also be advised to encourage language classes of the country the child was adopted from?
