I'm facing a hurdle in obtaining address proof for my passport application.
I stay in Kandivli, Mumbai in my Aunt's house. Aunt is settled in U.K. To get my passport, I now have to get a letter from the society, and which is giving me trouble to obtain. The society secretary says, he needs to have a NOC letter from my Aunty, and which needs to be stamped by the Indian Embassy in U.K.
I do not have any other address proof to show on this house where I stay, and I have been staying here since 2 years. I hail from Kerala.
What are my options? Is what the secy saying true?
