Hi, I've had a constant aching in my upper left arm for months now. Went to my chiropractor and he said I have degeneration of the cartelage between the vertebrae in my neck which caused a nerve to be pinched. Now I have this prickling sensation which travels down my arm to my fingers. I know before I started going to the chiropractor I had intense pain in my arm to the point I would drop whatever I was holding. I don't believe it's heart related or anything simply because there are no other symptoms. Just this ache which seems to always hang around. I massage the area and apply icy/hot. I am able to put my arm up and behind my head which seems to relieve the ache but then my arm wants to go numb..lol. Such a vicious cycle. If I scrunch my shoulders up around my ears I can hear a popping sound from my shoulder blade and crunching noises but only from my left side.
