Hello,
I've been getting more low back pain in the last few months. For years I've had low back pain, but recently it's been getting worse. Xrays were taken a few years ago, and there was no sign of disc deterioration, so at this point, I'm assuming it could be a bulging disc. I've had physical therapy, and the therapist says it's from l5/s1. I haven't had an MRI yet.
PT did nothing. They had me do a bunch of stretching and traction, but it didn't work, and I stretched religously. So at this point I was thinking of going to see a chiropractor. If the chiro can't help, then I was go to try accupuncture. Has anyone had success with either? Either way, I will press my GP for a MRI, so I can find out what is going on, but at this point, I'm assuming a bulging disc. I'm 43 and pretty active.
Thanks.
