About SPOILERS, GAMES -Introductions- Please Read, Come Say Hello

Hi!

I'm Gerald. I'm from the Philippines. I'm 21 years old. I love to watch movies. My favorites so far are The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Star Trek, The Last Castle, Avatar, National Treasure, The Hangover and Invincible. :)

Hey everyone! I love movies, particularly of the comedic genre. I'm also really into horror movies from the 70-80s. My fav movies are Halloween Series, Fright Night, Shaun of the Dead and The Big Lebowski.

Hi Carolina, welcome! Love to have you here. We had an introductiona thread, but like every thread in a big board, we kind of lost it! I don't even know how. Hehe.

Me too! The last 15 minutes of Big Fish made me teary. I'm a sucker for father/son stories, so it got to me. Hehe.

So true about The Prestige! The "tricks" are great because they play for the audience and the characters. It's a trippy good movie. :D I heard the book is a lot 'darker'. I hope to read it one day.

Don't worry about coming down hard on the posters shrr. It just means that you and ROCKSTAR are doing your job. But I understand about not adding new games (unless if approved) and the spoilers thing.

Since that spoiler tag has been invented, I see no reason to add "No Spoilers" in the end of the title...but then again, people can just simply highlight that spoiler box.

That's a great way to describe it. There is just something about it. One of the few films that actually makes me a bit sniffly too.

Yeah same here i love all the twists and turns. It's like a proper old fashioned film, just relying on the strength of the story. And you usually see something you didn't before every time you watch it. I'd love to read the book.

quick question. If the movie hasn't come out yet and there's no mention of it being "spoiler free" then anyone can post any spoilers about the movie ? (even though it hasn't come out yet?

Hi everyone! I'm Maria, 17-years-old and from Finland. I LOVE movies, I love horror, romantic, comedy and drama movies, so everything kind of movie goes for me :).
When I was 5 or 6 years old, I watched my first James Bond -movie with my dad :D, other time when me and my brother were both sick, we watched Scream 2, I was 6 years old, and now I have been thinking, what kind of dad and brother I have :D, but I didn't kind of understood those movies then.
Now my favorite movies are 500 Days of Summer, Marley & Me and Pay It Forward.

Hey. Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
Oh that sounds great! :D Same here.
What's your favourite romantic comedy?

Hi everyone  I'm Kelly, I live in gorgeous Australia and I'm a bit of a movie nutter so I thought I'd drop by :D

Aww neither do I, but I recently got the Sundance Film Channel on my TV so I get a lot of good movies there. Plus I have to Independent Film Channel too ♥

Welcome, Air! And thank you for the new thread! We're glad to have you. Your major sounds amazing. :D I agree about being emotionally invested, but I do love a Horror movie.

I'm adding this since people have clearly missed the point - we like to discuss things around here. The only exceptions to that are the two original game threads. Everything else requires more than just a movie title.

When you post like that it's considered star posting and against site rules, but just as important it kills all discussion, it's no fun, and it's boring. So please, add a little thought with your posts, okay? If you have any questions please ask them here. Thanks. :)

Hey Rayyan! Awesome name, by the way. I totally know what you mean about sticking to one board by the way, I did that when I first joined before it suddenly occurred to me that there were loads of places here for me to fangirl over

Hey everyone! I started a thread and didn't even introduce myself. I'm Air and I usually post on here in the TV fandom, but I'm actually a film production major currently and would love to start posting here. I love all genres - but the genre I know least about is horror and I'm trying to fix that. I love anything depressing, lots of drama and intrigue and I love action as well. But I love comedy and romance too - anything that gets me way too emotionally invested is usually a good sign.
