A restaurant charged me $9 more than was actually on the tab?

I know you said that you included a tip but was it a tip you added yourself? Some restaurants add a service charge to the final bill, this could be the extra $9. If not then you can contact the restaurant and ask for a refund but it might be difficult to prove now what you ordered unless you have an itemized receipt.

I used my debit card to pay for a lunch came to about $40 with tip. My account was debited $49 obviously the cashier/owner punched in the wrong numbers. Will this be a hassle getting the money back in cash or to my account?
