A good amp for 2 kicker 07CVR12's?

If i buy 2 of those subs everyone says if u buy kicker subs they will sound terrible with anything but kicker amps.. is this true or can somone come up with something cheaper for me?
 
The BEST amp for "Bang for the Buck" is Memphis, hands down.

You can run the class Ds at 1 ohm all day and the power is incredible.

Rockford fosgate USED to be the best amp in the mid-late nineties, but now they are just Best Buy mass produced garbage. I hope you're ready for the 2-4 week "Check in the mail" from Best Buy when you try to return it:) Did I mention Best Buy sucks? Sorry for the bias.
 
no way i wouldnt spend the money on a kicker amp if i had to...get a rockford fosgate they put out way more bang for the buck, way way better than a kicker. find something that puts out the same RMS as both of the subs added together so if theyre 400 rms then look for a 800 rms amp.
