Alright, so before i start ripping my tranny and front differential apart i want to be a little more clear on what the possibilities are.
so, last night i went driving around in my yota, and i have 4:56 gears in the rear and 4:10 gearing in the front (couldnt afford the front 4:56 at the time) so i knowingly couldnt use 4 wheel drive. anyways i went to turn around. dumped my truck in a ditch and had to use 4 wheel drive to get out.. well after i got out, it wouldnt pop out of 4 wheel drive so i drove about a block in 4 wheel drive.. trying to get it out.. now my front diff is toast. but what i dont understand is my other issue. i can start my truck, put it in gear and and let off the clutch as if i was driving but it wont drive anywhere.. it will go into all 5 gears but wont move at all.. now i put my truck in nutral and it plays as if its in gear such as, right now my truck is parked in nutral without the e-brake on and i cant move it.. its like the tranny is locked up.. i dont understand it.. possibly the clutch or the throw out bearing??? please give me a hand.
